The Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) is please to announce the launch of the Intelligence Studies Podcast, a co-production of RIEAS and the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies at Coastal Carolina University in the United States. This new podcast features periodic conversation-based analyses of the role of intelligence in security topics, touching on counter terrorism, domestic and international security, geopolitics, and international relations, among others.

They include an in-depth interview about Chinese intelligence operations with Mr. Mark Chandler, former Deputy Intelligence Chief (J2) at the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, who is now Professor of Practice in the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies at Coastal Carolina University.

Our latest episode features an interview about the latest developments in NATO’s southeastern flank with Vice Admiral (ret.) Ioannis Egolfopoulos, Greece’s former Naval Attaché in Washington, DC, who also served as Director of Logistics for the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, among numerous other posts in his decorated career.
