Introduction

The purpose of this research paper is to analyze current trends in the world regarding the pandemic of Covid-19 and recommend specific initiatives to combat the growing problem of weakening democracy. Perhaps the most noticeable form of undermining democracy is the growing role of governments and their willingness to implement new laws without consulting citizens.
