Risk of poverty much higher for foreign nationals
According to the latest Income and Household Living Conditions Survey the population at risk of poverty or social exclusion between the ages of 18-64 years old was much higher for foreign nationals compared to the Greeks (64.3% compared to 37.4% respectively).

Frontex publicized its Risk Analysis for 2016
The report mentioned three "choke-points": the maritime border between Turkey and Greece, the Central Mediterranean border and, as a consequence of the entry through Greece, the border with Western Balkan countries.

Finally realizing the basics!
The deputy Minister for Immigration Policy Mr Yiannis Mouzalas stated in an interview that Greece should set a number on the population of illegal immigrants that it can receive and support.

The increase of refugee inflow to Greece is the second most important event of 2015
According to a Kapa Research opinion poll 54.5% of Greeks consider the increased inflow of refugees as the second most important event of 2015 for Greece, preceded only by the imposition of capital controls (58.7%).

On the presence of jihadists in Greece
According to Hellenic Police reports, four foreigners were deported from Greece in recent years because they were propagating ISIS and they were trying to recruit radical Islamists to their cause.
