On April 6, 2016, during a yet another riot by "irregular immigrants" in the port of Piraeus, a protester raises his baby son above his head and threatens to launch him as a missile against the police. He is stopped before a tragedy can occur. Later, reports say, he is interviewed on camera about his heroic deed; he claims that what he did was "symbolic."
