GREEK CYBER DEFENCE: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS
George Protopapas (RIEAS Research Associate & Media Analyst) participated in the IV International Regional Conference Counter Terrorism Challenges in the Region of South Eastern Europe. He delivered a speech on “Greek Cyber Defence: Problems and Prospects”, in Maribor (27-29 September 2011). The International Conference was organized by Slovenian Ministry of Defence, USA Embassy in Ljubljana, Centre For Civil –Military Relations Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey USA.

John M. Nomikos, Chairman of the Mediterranean Council for Intelligence Studies (MCIS) delivered a paper titled “Reforms in the Greek Intelligence and Security Services and the Cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean Region” at the First International Workshop on Multinational Information Sharing: New Challenges for the International Community, organized by the Faculty of Political Science, University of Rome (TRE) and the Mediterranean Council for Intelligence Studies (MCIS), on 7-8 June 2010 in Rome, Italy.
